Also available from this same car are the T-tops and rear hard top. They were all recovered at an upholstery shop in black stayfast cloth and have new black headliner inside. The T-Tops were completed and are ready to use; the hardtop was only recovered inside and out but the rear glass (which I also have) was never reinstalled. These all need a new home
T-Tops- $295 each or $500/pair
Rear Hard Top, less glass- $400
Rear glass, including outer chrome trim- $250
(will make a good package deal on rear hard top and rear glass as a set.....)
Hi there,
Would you happen to still have the fuel filler neck - the piece that the flip-up gas cap is attached to and inserts into the gas tank filler neck?
Shipping to 03261
Thanks!
I might have it. Is your car an XJSC??? They are different than a coupe.....

I know this is an old post but wondered if you had the trunk kit for the car. I recently purchased a 1987 XJS Coupe and the carpets and fittings are all missing from the trunk.
Thanks Stephen, another member has everything but the battery cover and that is one of the few parts I actually have. He is checking on shipping charges at the moment. I am in TX.
Howdy Stephen, the trunk lining deal fell through so if you do have the side panels, mat and panel covering the gas tank in the same color I'd be interested. Woulld $100 + shipping be acceptable?
I am after a few more parts too. In among all your spares would you have a dome light (innards at lease) and trunk lock with key for an '87? I purchased a set of door handles, trunk lock and glove box but it turned out the trunk lock was for a '91 and a different set up. My car came with no door keys and they had drilled out the trunk lock.
I believe that the boot lining is all the same color. I should have all the parts. I'll put them together this week. Send me shipping info for S & H pricing and I will give you a bottom line cost.
Cool, thanks. My address is 210 Amandas Way, Leander, TX 78641. I recently purchased a new headliner from the UK and the shipping was less than $US100 so hopefully the trunk kit will be similar.
Regards,
Nigel
I think S & H would be $ 30.00 or less. I am just south of Pittsburgh, PA. I believe I have a full set of door locks and boot lock with keys if you would be interested. I am getting ready to junk one of my parts cars so anything thing you may need let me know and I'll pull it before I send the car to the crusher.
I used the cylinder from one of the door locks I bought and put that into the car. Oh my. Whomever designed that set-up where all the fiddly bits are behind the glass (even when raised) is a complete *******. :-) I really only need the trunk lock and key now. I will live with having different keys because I don't want to go through the door lock removal/installation process again. I only did the driver side door because it is a real pain. My door still does not lock and I think it may be the big servo. Not sure why I need that because there is no central locking. Am going to try and remove it to see if I can at least lock the door. If you absolutely have to sell them as a set then I can likely do that too and just hock the door locks on eBay later on.
The only other parts that I need to replace, that I know of, are the interior light (roof light) as that broke apart when I removed the lining and the driver side seat belt receiver (currently held together with duct tape). I will go over the car some more today and see if there is anything else. Do you have the code to the radio? I read some threads where they describe how to hack it but haven't attempted that yet.
I can't wait to get this on the road. It runs and drives very well but the Lucas electrics are beyond me (sometimes things work, other times not) so I am going to take it to a pro and have him look at it so I can pass inspection.
Before you send your car to the crusher I hope that you are removing odds and ends as you likely will be able to sell them on eBay, if you have the time and space. Pity we are not closer as I'd bring a trailer and take it off your hands. :-)
Oh, I know what the servo in the door is for now. I bent the rod between that and the door lock so couldn't lock the door with the key but found it locks and unlocks both doors. I disconnected it for now so that I can use the key to lock and unlock the driver door. If you have that rod in your parts car I would be interested in that too. If you need to sell it with the servo then so be it. I can keep the servo as a spare. I am fortunate to have a barn with lots of space to keep all those bits that I may need one day. :-)
