Description:
Selling my 2016 Jaguar F-Type S RWD with a 6-speed manual transmission and only 22,850 miles. Ebony black exterior with an amazing brown extended leather interior.
The car is in immaculate condition cosmetically and mechanically. No issues with an extensive service/maintenance history (detailed records in hand) just recently out of warranty. Rear brake pads and battery replaced less than a month ago. Paint correction and ceramic coating completed in 2021 -- the black paint looks like a mirror. Over $9,500 in factory options including extended leather, premium & vision pack, panoramic roof, performance seats & 19" Centrifuge wheels.
I just recently purchased it and am only selling because I am too tall (6' 5") to comfortably fit and work the pedals. Absolutely no issues, no stories. Clean title in hand. A great car that I will be sad to see go. I have an offer around this from one of the big name online buyers but figured I'd offer it here to see if another enthusiast would be interested first.
You've probably already checked this, but I've found if you move the seat forward a little, then down, it can go back further. This allowed my 6'7" friend to drive mine comfortably. although mine is an auto, so obviously no clutch petal.
If I'm telling you something you already know, my apologies. I'm sure you'll have no issue selling that very desirable MT.
I actually also owned a 2015 F-Type R for a little over a year previously. It was tight but never so much that it detracted from driving it.
I've tried various seating positions, like you explained it's a bit of a process to get just the right adjustment without it resetting itself. But for some reason (I'm guessing largely due to needing to be more 'active' with manually shifting gears), no matter what I do it just doesn't feel comfortable.
I could definitely live with it if need be, but I also want to enjoy driving it since that's the whole point of having the manual.
Unfortunately my loss will be someone else's gain -- it truly is a beautiful car in fantastic condition.

Also, I’m not sure if you’re familiar with the additional costs of auctions or how car buying works in general — especially in CA. I paid $44,500, plus $2,000 for the C&B auction fee. Then I paid $4,500 in taxes and registration fees as well as $500 to replace the rear brakes and $300 for a new battery.
So I’m into it for $51,800 and will make a whopping $200 profit if it were to sell at this price.
I’m not a dealer and I had no intentions of reselling so quickly. But I’d be the first person to buy a car at an auction and then resell for a ‘profit’. I should tell others about this crazy concept.
I also love that you created an account here to make such a stupid ******** comment.
