I’ve been ordered out of the sunshine so it’s time to let go of my favorite toy.  I’ve owned and garaged this car for the last 9 years. It came to me with 37,000 miles after spending it’s early life in the garage of a Florida doctors family. Living in the warm climate, and my never turning it off before being brought up to temp, has prevented Nikasil issues. It starts and runs great. All of the Jag time bomb issues have been addressed. These include:

*Upper chain tensioners replaced with metal ones.
*Rear view mirror rebuilt.
*Hydraulic pressure control unit installed on power roof system.
*Headliner replaced.
*Water temp gauge kit installed to show actual operating temp.
*All stereo speakers replaced, with upgraded versions in doors and 6X9’s in rear.
*Rear speakers powered by JVC power amplifier. Great sound. CD changer works but cassette player ate the last tape I tried.
*Bilstein struts installed on front.
*New upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, upper and lower ball joints, tie rod *ends, wheel bearings, rear shock bushings.
*Replaced front strut upper bearing plates.
*New water pump.
*Cast aluminum thermostat tower.
*New valve cover gaskets.
*Trans fluid replaced, spark plugs and such.
