Selling our 2004 Jaguar XJ8.
132k miles, engine is the 4.2L V8, 300 hp. Six speed ZF automatic transmission. Car swallows the freeway miles very easily allowing you to arrive at your destination relaxed and refreshed.

Aluminum body means the big cat is quite light for its size, aiding performance and fuel economy. No need to worry about rust either.

Global close function closes all windows and sunroof when the lock button is held on the fob, opposite works too, you can open the windows as you approach on a hot day and let the hot air out.

Audio has a bluetooth adaptor to connect with smart phones.
Seats and steering wheel are heated, rear seats too.
Puddle lights in the door mirrors and doors help you avoid stepping in puddles once parked.


This car has been well maintained, being owned by a Jaguar enthusiast's family and was my daughter's car, so we did a lot of pre-emptive servicing to head off future problems. 
Therefore it has had all the usual troublespots sorted already:-
the valley hose has been replaced, 
as have all other cooling hoses, 
she rides on new coil springs and shocks to avoid any air strut issues, 
most suspension parts have been replaced, new upper and lower control arms, new bushes, new track rod ends, new ball joints, etc. etc.
ceramic brake pads all round, low dust and low noise,
new coolant overflow tank has been recently installed, 
transmission was serviced with new ZF fluid, new electronic sleeve, and a new sump/filter last year, 
new water pump, 
drive belts, 
tensioners, 
bearings,
thermostat housing, 
always had full synthetic oil and Bosch filters since we owned her. 
Coolant system was flushed and filled with OAT coolant a year ago also.
Injectors have been serviced, new o-rings fitted. 
Even still has the undertray installed.

These items, the hoses, the suspension bushes, etc. are the source of many issues on these cars, being plastic/rubber and 20 years old. Just check the forums for how many people are having issues and how expensive it is to replace the valley hose and all the other parts. This is something you want to know has been taken care of on any car you are buying.
