Description:

Hi. I'm looking for a 95-97 (x300) Vanden Plas. This would be a daily driver, so it doesn't have to be perfect, but I'd like it to be presentable, not trashed. I'm thinking it'd have around 100k miles. I don't mind a bit of fixing needed, but not looking for a project car. And it has to be able to pass a smog test. Lastly I'd like to pay no more than $5000. I live in Ventura county, California. Leads are appreciated. Thanks!

I have a 97 vandenplas with 88k on the odometer.. straight 6- 4.0 engine... ran a month ago fine.. now won't start is most likely a module issue... It's not perfect but generally in decent shape driver's seat has wear on it and some of the clear coat is missing on trunk (it's aluminum which causes those issues..) Carnival red is the color ....

I'd let it go for $500 as I have 5 cars and no time to work on it.... tires are brand new...my mechanic also retired...

I am sorry to say that a couple large and unexpected expenses have come my way in the last month. So I will have to put getting a VDP on hold for now. Maybe next year. My thanks to those of you who responded to this. Don't feel too bad for me; I still have my XJS.
