I'm pretty sure that there is a different way to post this but... here it goes...
Where can I find a list of bad Sellers???
I posted a "Want to Buy" ad for some specific SVR wheels.......big mistake. I had several scammers respond and send pictures claiming to have what I wanted. When I googled the pics, I could see they had been lifted from other Ebay listings, etc. I finally pulled the post down, lesson learned.
This happened to me on a facebook group. I had my suspicions. The guy was selling a complete set of Jaguar 20" BBS Perseus wheels for $1300. It was too good to be true. I asked the guy to send me pictures of all four wheels together with my name written on a piece of paper. The paper looked photoshopped. So I asked him for a video with the four wheels together with him pointing out the curb rash, measuring it and and narrating the defects and measurements. He instead just made a 4 second video zooming in on the picture with the photoshopped paper. He wanted the deposit via paypal. I reported him, and ghosted him. Then I checked the facebook group and noticed that one of the rules was that you could only buy parts from him. Reported that and left the group.
The facebook group is called Jaguar OEM & Aftermarket Hub, and the seller was called Webster James Auto Parts. If you ever come across it, because facebook is going to do ****-all to take that page down even after being reported, do not join the group and do not be enticed by the amazing deals. It's all fake. The guy selling the parts is the group admin!
