Description:
I sold my 1989 XJS and need to clear off my parts shelf. Here are the following parts I have accumulated.
All parts are located in the western burbs of Chicago. If you have a FedEx account I will gladly take the items to my local FedEx ship and pack location and have them packed and sent at your expense. I also travel to the St Louis area on occasion and could deliver but contact me first.
For sale:
- Goodridge stainless steel brake hoses, 3 piece set. New in box. $50
- Brake pedal assembly from pre-ABS XJS. Used to revert your ABS equipped car to normal brakes when your ABS system fails. Includes pedal, pedal assembly, booster, master cylinder, and lines. Also included are two new in box Mitsubishi master cylinders and a remote brake reservoir. $150
- Gear shift assembly, used. $10
- 4 new CAC3067 rear cage mounts new in the bag. These are from Moss Motors and are Uro brand. Currently selling at Moss for $18 each, I will sell mine for $10 for the set.
- 3 new in box oil filters. 2x AC Delco PF964's and 1x Bosch 3978. $5 for all 3
- 1 official Box-of-Stuff including new and used parts. Transmission mount, cruise control bellows (working), brake pads, new u-joints, axle u-join shields, and some other miscellany. $25
- 1 used British Starters gear reduction starter. Less than 1 year old when replaced. I have replaced the solenoid. $80
- 1 used official 1989 Jaguar stereo in working condition. I removed to upgrade the sound system. The code is written on the case with a sharpie. $50
- 2x new Jag Improver camshaft banjo bolts and 2x new Jag Improver half moon seals. $50
- 1 set new fuel injection seals - $5
- 2x new AC Delco tie rod ends - $10 for both
- 1x new oil pressure sender and 1x new oil pressure switch - $5 for both
- 2x used front brake calipers. I bought these new and put them on so I could keep driving the car while I powder coated the originals. These have maybe 1k miles on them. Include pads that were installed new when I put on the calipers. $50
- 2x outer fulcrum bearing kits. One is still new in bag and one is still new with a torn bag. SNG sells them new for $100 each. mine are $50 for both.
Somebody check my match but all together this adds up to $550. I'll let it all go for $350 if someone agrees to buy the whole lot as it sits.

How close are you to Sparta, IL. My parents live there and I go down about once a month to see them.

My Post 6-9-22 First sentence, "Yes I believe it's a good deal, and I'd like to have it all". Sounds like a bonified offer to purchase the parts to me?
My Post 6-10-22 Last sentence, We'll get it figured out.
Everything else between us was a discussion of how to make it happen.
Your Statement of 6-12-22 "I will take the lot at $350.00 plus shipping". Is a direct Statement, not an offer. A proper response would have been if the deal falls through please let me know as I'm interested.
Sorry I'm old School. I believe proper etiquette, and several of the old ways are still important. Even if no one else does.
