My car is a manual transmission. However, m1 ATF is a classic 7.5cst transmission fluid. It works well in nearly every automatic and manual, with the possible exception of newer transmissions that use 5.0cst "low viscosity" ATF.
Even then, because of its full synthetic nature, it's thinner when extremely cold outside. So, many ford owners with low viscosity fluid requirements still have excellent results on the M1.
I have a 2005 Jag X-Type. You had no issues with the Mobil 1 synthetic ATF in your X-Type? I was planning on using the Castrol Multi Import but want more confidence in others luck first. I prefer the Mobile 1 as it is a full synthetic.
