Hello Wayne, hoping 2026 has treated you well so far! I am in Jacksonville, Florida and own two XJ8's. One is a 1998 Vanden Plan, the other a 2003 base sedan. As is everyone, I am constantly (or so it seems) replacing the front, upper shock mounts.
Do you currently have them "in house" or what is the best proceedure do move forward with at least one set for now?
    Many thanks Wayne,
    Scott

Mark, thank you for asking but I don't send overseas but my friend in Australia does and we worked together for a year or so to get to the point we felt comfortable with our efforts.
Give him a PM and note his Forum name it baxtor Note no capital and no er.
His name is Steve and he does the front and rear in poly and ships all over the world.

Jim, thank you for thinking about my mounts,
At present, all out of cores but if you send me your old ones, I can get a set out generally within a couple of days of receiving them.
I must admit hard to keep up with the molding of the bushings right now, they have to spend 16 hours in the mold and then get cooked at 300 degrees for a bit before I use them.
If you send me yours, I charge $225 and that includes me sending them back to you.
They will be cleaned, sharp edges smoothed, painted, new bushings and a 70 Duro gasket installed on the metal top hat piece that will have wear on it. This will take care of that.
You can PM me for mailing information and payment, just a check in the box you send the cores in is fine with me. Bank check if not a problem but I can live with normally personal one.

    Hi Wayne,

It's that time again for me - I would like to buy a pair of your front top shock mounts. I previously used the UROs and they lasted a couple of years, but I have to take apart the entire front suspension for bushings and such, so this is a good time to do this.

Are you still able to do these out of "stock", or do you need me to send in mine?

If you could let me know your current pricing and some sort of timeframe, that would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
    James

Kyle, yes, I do and will send you a few on by Email, if that is OK?
It will be sometime tomorrow before I can. Working on a set I got in yesterday first thing.

Also, do you have any pics of your mounts apart and or together?

    Hi Wayne,

I'd like to find out more about your upper shock mounts. My current Welsh (the newer style) ones have failed.

Can you work with these aftermarket cores?
    How long does it take?
    How much does it cost?

    Thank you,
