    Bob,

It's acceptable to post about events at your local Jaguar Dealer with a link to their relevant web page for members to view details and sign up. What you can't do is make the thread a place for them to sign up.

    Regards,
    Graham

    Bob,

Go ahead and post about the event but play down the donation so it doesn't look like it's the purpose of the thread.

A reliability on Friday 13th - that some test!

    Regards,
    Graham

Bob - I just tested posting pics in the moderators room and asked IB/Others to look into. I can post pics if I select the Go Advanced button and then click the Attachments Icon. If I select the Add Image - I can select the image, click insert but the image does not post

Bob no issues I am aware of but you are the second person mentioning problems posting pics today.

What browser are you using and have you tried to clear temporary internet files?

I will see if IB is doing any updates

Thank you for the invite, seeing you're in the DC area, if you or if you know of any "honest" Jaguar mechanics or enthusiasts? My 2004 Vanden Plas, was recently repaired by a Jaguar mechanic in Maryland. I recently had hoses replaced, the mechanics explanation: Replaced leaking water feed hose under intake manifold and one soft bleed hose after filling and pressure testing found engine had been overheated and oil and pressure build up in cooling system car needs engine. Yesterday started it up, it sounds great, but the screen says "limited performance." Pressed the accelerator the car cut off, the second time I did that, it did not cut off! I didn't drive it (hasn't been driven since new hoses were replaced). Could it be that the computer needs to be reset and the engine light may go out?! I am torn, I Love my car but if it really needs a new engine...

I had my Evoque loaner out both C & C's last week, but it was salt-caked. I had the Jag in for work at Chantilly. A nice car. Looks to me like the salt will be OK (but not great) this weekend. I'll be at both, with either the XK or the Elise.

    Bob,
I'm thinking of bringing an Evoque out to C&C this weekend (maybe both events). Do you think there will be a decent turnout? I'm worried because there is a lot of salt on the roads. I would bring the new Rover Sport but we don't have any in stock.
