Hey there, thanks for the prompt reply and a Happy Holiday to you!
I have actually done all that part before, having redone all the wood trim in my car.
The thing I am hoping for instruction on is installing the aluminum J-gate trim piece I got from the person in Canada who makes them. It is a very thin piece and looks like it needs some conforming to fit good.
There are 2 holes in it for screws, and I do see bosses for screw holes when looking at the factory plastic j-gate assembly piece from the bottom, so I am guessing I need to drill those through and install the screws there, but I can't tell for sure if they are in the exact correct spot. As this piece has to line up perfectly for all of the back lit legends to show through I would rather not experiment.
I am sure it was quite a while ago when you installed yours, do you recall this process and if they supplied installation instructions?

Hi, these videos show everything you need to do to get it done, except for the gear knob.

The Reverend Sam's video for the bezel:
This video is for the J-gate plastic trim removal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ww3N...ature=youtu.be

After that it's just a matter of following the steps in reverse.

Before doing everything else, you have to get the gear knob out. It's easy enough if you have a wooden one. It simply unscrews. A leather one is more complicated. I've heard talk about needing to drill something out to break the seal so that you can then unscrew it, or using a special tool.
