Default 1968 Daimler v8 250

I've just been informed the the ball joints for the Mk2 won't fit the Daimler?

Where can I get reasonable frt. calipers ($575 for 2 ! )

2 outer tyrods = $75.00 seems good ?

With thanks, David

Who told you that ? The front suspension is identical to the Mark 2, although the spring rates will be different, no doubt. Were they confused and thought you were referring to a Daimler SP 250 ?

What is your problem with the front calipers ? You can replace the wheel cylinders separately at not too much cost. Modern calipers are available to fit but the cost is fairly high.

Outer tie rods price looks OK to me.

Nowadays, everybody fits the XJ40 front ball joints made by Lemforder. They bolt straight on and last forever, whats not to like ? No point in faffing around with the old ones !
