I have not seen too many s types. Mine was white with red interior. I am not so fond do those colours. What are the favourite combination of internal and external colours. That car that Jose has for sale for 30 that cost 45 to do up has a beautiful interior

 

that is a 1965 MK-2 and the color is Medium Blue Metallic, and the interior color is called Magnolia, it was custom-ordered from BAS Ltd.

Primaz ( a forum member here ) has the similar exterior color in his S type.

Mine is Plum Red with Tan interior, it is the factory color.

 

Nothing wrong with white, which I would assume is Old English White, a somewhat creamy type of white. Certainly with a non-air con car, it keeps the car cooler in the sun. My old XJ6 Series 3 was white, Arctic White and non-air con. Always reasonably cool in summer if left standing in the sun. When I bought a Mazda Xedos in dark grey later on, I found out how hot a car really could get in the sun !!
