Default Engine lifting Eye

SNG Barrat and outhers sell these lifteyes C23607 recommended for Mk2. Can that one really carry the full weight of engine and gearbox and can the bolts take that? Should I use two?

BTW ~ Presume your engine has the 4 longer studs fitted that allow them to be a permanent fixture as they were on later XK engines.

Hopefully long enough. No doubt I had an ambition to reach the same lvl of finnish as you have...but I found out there is a problem with my character witch too often stop as good enough.

There is also a very sensible saying. "Don't let perfection get in the way of very good". These cars were not perfect when new.
