Don't scratch them.

Follow the WS manual & it's pretty plain sailing.
Top of Dash in last after A pillars.
Top of door rubbers last because the attachment screws are behind them in the exterior channel.

Be careful when putting the dash top in as it is a tight fit so you have to be careful of scratching the A pillar wood. The steering wheel should not be fitted until the dash top wood is in place. The front windscreen needs to be fitted before the dash top as it is very difficult to pull the lower part of the windscreen rubber seal into place with the dashtop fitted.
Make sure the Speedo and Tacho are in straight and upright before fitting the wood as getting behind the wood to adjust the clocks is difficult when everything is in place. Connect all the wiring and cables to the Speedo and Tacho before fitting the dash top as this allows you to get to them from the top rather than fiddling blind from the bottom.

Use a well fitting screw driver.

When it comes to the slot screws, I obtain a good quality one, usually not from China, ones a gun smith would use.
I then grind it to fit the concave bottom of the screw, if applicable while making it fit the slot in a snug manner, right to the point where the screw will stay on the driver tip by itself.

install the CENTER hinged panel first. You will understand why if you don't.

I bought an assortment of different size & length stainless steel screws to match the originals. The originals rust. It is critical the right screw goes in the right hole or you can split the wood or the screw tip come right through & protrude on the above window rails. Small things that can mess the job up. A new set of top of door garnish rail screws & washers is money well spent. Read my two posts together otherwise they are a little disjointed.

The numbers in the pic are cuckoo. They send you the right numbers.
