Default Help needed with unidentified MK2 part

No idea...

Hi all - I have real trouble identifying two electrical components that seems to belong to my Mk2. It was in a box with parts when I got the car. It looks like a voltage regulator or a fuse box (yes, my knowledge is limited). The covering box says 'NEW-ERA'. I looked through parts catalogues, wiring schematics and service manuals but have come up with nothing.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks

Vincent

doesn't look like a Jaguar part, much less the "New Era" logo.

looks like some kind of "contactor" or "relay", what for, I don't know, but does not look Jaguar to me. Maybe someone threw it in the parts box.

Looks like some simple after market relays each with their own fuse.

I'll say first- Ive never seen those before, so this is a guess. I agree with Jeff they are relays of some sort. Maybe for aftermarket add-on turn signals? Ill pass the pic on and see what i can find out. --Also, further examination suggests the botton terminals are labeled S H S- maybe for Switched, Hot, and Switched?

Many thanks for the replies! I'll put these aside and not worry about them for now. It looks like a previous owner did some modifications. Still interested to hear what they would have been used for.

Cheers
Vincent

Looks like driving/fog light or horn relays to me. Not Jaguar.
