After a week of agonizing, finally finished my homemade kickdown switch and carpet back in.. The car is still very slow from standstill. But at 30mph-ish, when I kick down, it goes like crazy. Faster than I expected. Will deal with the slowness after Xmas - the carbs are certainly unbalanced.. it "runs on" too so I suspect timing is not right.
