Default Long shot...looking for a MK2

Group, I know this maybe a needle in a haystack...but here goes...
In 1995 I purchased a 1963 (titled that way) MK2 from a gentleman in Columbia, SC. LHD 3.8 or 3.4 in Opalescent Golden Sand. The car was essentially a rolling body with everything stripped out and included a later XJ6 4.2 engine. The car was an original southern car with little to no rust issues. Steel Wheels.

I sold the car around 1997/8 timeframe (traded for an MGB) to a David Hanchette in Raleigh, NC. David prepped the car for paint (I understand it is now primer grey) but after about ten years of owning the car, it was sold on to a buyer, reportedly from southern Virginia area.

Mr. Hanchette does not recall the name of the buyer or their contact info.
I am interested in knowing if the car still exists, was it completed, where it is located and most of all if there is a contact information for the car's current owner.

I have acquired another complete car that needs some extensive body work and am looking for a ready to paint shell.
Any leads appreciated.

Thank you,
Mike
