sills have no rust i'm happy !


no dents this will keep the painter happy as it is a black jag.

fyi, what may appear to be bare metal may not be. I found that for example almost the entire section of metal above the front grill was not metal but mostly lead fill. I believe Jaguar was very generous with using lead to fill in gaps and not just the seams. Lead fil that old will often crack or loose the bond and then you will encounter horrible cracks on your new paint job. I used magnets to find all of the lead. In the front around the grill I removed the large amount of lead and made new metal pieces and those were welded in place as I did not want any more crack to appear.
