MK2 might be for sale.
Hello All,
I received my weekly newsletter from The Roadster Factory in PA (yes, I am also a Triumph owner and enthusiast) and Charles Runyan made mention of a friend who has a decaying MK2 (maybe more) and posted the following email address in case anyone is interested in contacting the owner. I would like to see someone get the car and/or parts rather than see them go to the bone yard. felton@atlanticbb.net
Following is more information from Charles Runyan's weekly newsletter: They are Mark 2 Jaguars with 3.8 litre XK engines and overdrive gearboxes. Regrettably, they are disassembled, somewhat vandalized, and rusted. There are lots of usable parts, body panels, glass, bumpers, chrome, etc. There are two engines and three overdrive gearboxes, which may or may not need work. The cars are in Maryland and the owner is Craig Felton.
NOTE: According to Charles, there are three cars, but in sad shape, but many usable parts.
Ted

What part are you looking for ? Just in case
I was looking for a few little parts, but I was able to source them from Jagbits.
I still needed the pipe that goes into the case and holds the dipstick- (as MK2 pointed out I bent mine pulling the engine out)- BUT happily I was able to repair it by heating it with a torch and pounding a rod down through it to straighten it and push out any indentations.
