Default New Clutch Slave Cylinder Miss-Match ???

The push rods look to be about the same length, but the reservoir is certainly smaller.
The biggest problems are the thread fittings are totally different, but they seem to be a standard size, so I'm hoping to get some sort of an adapter.
Has anyone come across this problem before ?

The new master cylinder was bought from David Manners Jaguar, but the part numbers and photos from all the suppliers are the same, or at least the pictures look the same.

Thanks

What a PITA !
The new master cylinder appears to be 7/16 20tpi, 1/4 inch pipe.
Any adapters that I can find are all 7/16 24tpi _ American stuff.

There doesn't seem to be any adapter to go from male 1/4" 7/16 20tpi to female 3/16 tube with a thread size of 24tpi.

Hi JeffR1,
Is this what you need?
BQ47 7/16' x 20NF 3/8' x 24NF

https://www.hoseandfittingsetc.com/p...emale-adapters

You may be able to find what you need at a hydraulic shop. My local Autozone let me in the back room to look through all there fitting when I needed to make a special adaptor.

Cheers,
Bob

That looks like it !
It's hard to to tell if the seat is correct, but I think I can make it work if I can't find anything else.
Thanks much, there was so much to look through on the web and nothing I put in the search box was coming up.

Jeff
