New owner of sick 61 MKII - SNG Barrat wheel arch sections
I just bought this car (3.8, autobox) on a whim. I t hasn't been run in 25 years, and the front brakes were removed back then, so they don't work, although it was reassembled by the guy who sold it.
It's got the usual rust at the back of the front wheel wells and inside the front of the back wheel wells, and a bit in the outer sills. I've done jobs much worse than this.
Has anyone used SNG Barrats front wheel arch repair sections? I'm wondering how far back along the rear of the arch they go and how good they are. Since my arches are intact except for the rear, I would just cut off that section and use it.
