Default New S type Owner

Dear All,

I have just become the new owner of a red 1966 S type 3.4 auto and I love this car.
Last on the road in 2013 the car is complete (but not completely assembled) but needing a bit of TLC
I paid 4K Euro for it and hope I've got my monies worth. It looks almost rust free and ran when it was driven into the shed its spent the last 7 years in. Interior needs a lot of attention as do the brakes and suspension. The edges of the bonnet have gone and I'd say it's going to need a new one.
Haven't got it home yet so will find go over the body and chassis in more detail when it arrives, hopefully next week when I've cleared some room for it in my shed.
Looking forward to owning this car and the great knowledge I know exists on this Forum.

Welcome Chris. Come over & join us at the S Type Register as well. The Forum concentrates on the S Type. Good info both here & there. Register your car.

I just got mine on the road last fall after owning and repairing things for 6 years. What a hoot! It is still far from perfect though.
