I would like to see the top, but judging from the intake manifold, I'm going to say a TR7.
If that is so they're pretty much worthless _ just like the car.
I had one of those, nothing but a money pit _ **** poor designed head.
There were two banks of head bolts _ 2 rows of four.
One row was longer then the other so the bolts did not expand and contract at the same rate _ this allowed the head to warp.
Bloody head gaskets always leaked because of this.
If they were over heated _ even a little, the head would warp, sometimes to the point where the cam would seize causing the bolts that hold the sprocket gear to shear off.
Any valves that were open at the time would be bent as the piston came up.
Crumby 4 speed trans.
Later cars had the better rear end and 5 speed out of the Rover, this was also used in the TR8 to take the horse power the 3.5 Litre V8 could dish out.

Man !! Looking at those carbs sure brings back some night-mares !

The "O" ring you see on the manifold side would leak as well.
