Oil and Transmission Fluid Change: What Type(s)

Oil and Transmission Fluid Change: What Type(s)
It's almost there!
The fuel lines/tank is clear and flowing.
The engine idles strong.
The cooling system flushed. The brake lines bleed and cleared.
The Daimler is ready to drive finally!
But I was advised to change the oil AND transmission fluid.
( moisture might have gotten in ...)
So what type of oil and what type of transmission fluid?
How much?
Additives in addition to oil/fluid?
I was told to add Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer to both the oil and the transmission fluid. Lucas increases "stickiness" of both oil and fluid to gears, and thereby reduces friction of metal-on-metal damage )
Also should an engine flush be used ahead of the oil change?
A transmission flush agent before the transmission fluid is drained and changed?
Perspective and opinions requested, please!
TIA to all!

I use 20W/50 in the engine all the time, unless a lot of cold weather driving , then I use 15W/40. Brand would be up to you. Transmission if 4-speed would be 30W non-detergent or if auto DEX III. I never use a flush, never had to. If oil is old and you change, do a quick refresh at 500 miles. There is a plate with number and what oils to use where inside the engine compartment.

I also use Castrol 20W50 for my older cars- it is good quality and readily available. I also add a quart of Valvoline 20W50 racing oil because it has ZDDP anti wear additive that is not allowed in standard oils. One quart is enough.
Question- I have seen it before but find it hard to believe- you really use 30W oil in the Jaguar manual transmissions? I am used to using 90W oil in manual transmissions (SWPCO 201 or equivalent).

Seems some used the 90W in the overdrive unit, which caused the to explode. The Laycock tranny used lighter oil from early 40s thru the 60s. Did not look but the E
XKE may use something different. I did find using a heavier oil in these transmissions made it hard to get the right shimming on assembly. Tried adding some STP once and had to reclean and assemble the unit. My latest rebuild occurred after a gentleman reversed out of his barn with a MK7 with handbrake on and broke 4 gears. 90W was really stinky and dirty, made shifting harder.
