Haha fingers crossed its KC as that would be closer to stage 3 factory haha

I do wonder aswell why the car came with 2 spare 2.4 engines from 58 models no 2.4 head has been stripped properly but the blocks are stripped apart and 1 set of pistons missing, i originally thought the solex carbys i have are for the 56 but they are stamped LC58 above 32pbi-5 which i presume is for 1958 so not from the cars motor like i thought and no other part numbers match the car hmm makes me wonder what they used them for i also have 4 distributors and 2 su fuel pumps in a spares box why so many

You're sure it's an all steel body & there's no signs of a roll cage ever being fitted? Can't think of any other reason you'd need a truck load of spares. Though old cars do tend to gather a lot of " could be useful" bits around them. & it could just be part of it's "history", whatever that is.

Haha not that i seen it is odd though but possibly just spares for when something breaks or previous worn out parts.i have a set of rego papers for the car being posted to me so i can obtain the heritage cert
