Default Indy Car

Mid Ohio race was anything but spectacular in regards to the way the winner car crossed the line . Of course , you may ask what's so spectacular about that
The reason in my respect is the winner car's driver crossed the finish line past 100 meters or so and he had his car stalled or somehow the car run out of fuel
Saving fuel is a good thing not just in daily drivers but also in the races lol
This reminded me of a racing event dating back to middle 90's .I can't quite remember it but Jean Alesi was involving in it .

Jean Alesi inexplicably ignored several calls from his team to pit for fuel, then ran out of gas on the track.
F1 has major fuel restrictions this year. While I appreciate technology, i want to see guys race, not hold back because of fuel mileage issues.

I can't believe what a coincidence this is . The last time I was thrilled by an Indy Car took 1 year and it was Mid Ohio and now Mid Ohio happening again .

Story book stuff in point of many things . Graham Rahal ,the son of Bobby Rahal, win in Mid Ohio in his hometown crowd and to spice things up Bobby Rahal won at the very track in 1985 .

Graham started as 13th with more than 50 points gap behind Morontoya and now after this standing ,the gap is just anemic 9 points

Well Done Graham , you are a cool all rounder sportsman
