Default Thanks for the invite!

Starting my search for a bucket list purchase. Either an XJ6 or an XJ12 from the ‘95-97 era. I’ll be combing through the forums for wisdom! Thanks again!

Default Just bought a salvage XF 2010 3 ltr with electrical/mechanical issues

New here so be gentle please .... well, until you get to know me
Having a major problem sorting out just how to read posts, keep getting a help series that I don't really want and then I can't get any further. The reply button was the only one that did anything, so here I am ...
I live in Mannum South Australia and just bought a 2010 XJ 3 ltr 6 cyl at a salvage auction with electrical and mechanical problems, why do I get the feeling I just knocked a hornet next off a branch and it landed on my head

It is roughly 1200kms away so I have to get my car carrier truck running again so I can bring it back home ..... then the questions will start

T1 Terry

I don't even recognise this type of 6cy engine

Default Hello from Northern Nevada

Greetings to the forum. I live in Reno, NV. My daily driver is a 2012 Jaguar XJ, British racing green with the 5.0 L V8. Interior color is barley. Fastest auto I have ever had. My fun car is a 1995 XJS Flamenco Red 4.0 L straight 6. Also, interior color is barley. My first Jag was a 2002 X-type with a 5-speed manual. Fun and ok but had some serious problems concerning reliability. Not germane maybe, but I also have an 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce 2.0 L 4-cylinder with a 5 speed manual (my first real sports car). Rosso amaril color. Summer is a glorious time to drive these cars in the high desert or Sierra Nevada. In winter, all three are garage queens. Good start but my wife thinks I have too many autos, lol.

Hello from Niagara Falls NY. I just bought my first Jaguar, a 2003 XJ8, as my 1978 MG Midget was getting too hard to get into and out of. I'm looking forward to getting lots of good info here, as the car is lovely but in need of TLC.

That's the old toy next to the new one, it's now sold to someone younger and more flexible

Yep, I go between L.A. and Vegas for work. I used to live in El Segundo CA for 25 years but sold in 2020 when a I was offered a crazy price for my house.
So living good with no mortgage in Vegas. Still have my s-stype and XF for my wife.
