Hey guys.. put a deposit down on an 07 XKR in Houston. It is getting a new engine before I get it.. story is the tire shop that picked it up for new tires ran over something, punctured the oil pan and drove the car until it seized.. so they get to pay for the new engine.. I get a certified car with a new engine.

Trading my 2011 Volvo C70 in for the XKR, my first Jag. C70 is beautiful, cool folding top, but lack power.. XKR will feed my Top Gear need for power.

Already learned a lot here reading the forums.. looking forward to getting to know some of you.

sounds familiar, I put 1 in for a tire shop doing the same thing only they overheated it and kept driving.....welcome

 

Welcome to the forums! Great car to be 'initiated' into jaguar family. I'm on my first as well, and may never sway again to another brand. Drop by with pics after you can run out of excuses for driving it around.
