Default 1963 Jaguar MK II, 3.8L

Hello,
I have a 1963 Jaguar MK II 3.8. I pulled off the crankshaft pulley and noticed the seal behind it is leaking. I am hearing that to change it the entire engine must be dismantled. I also heard that that is not the case. Does anyone know how to replace this seal? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Dave,

That was my first Jag, but I can't recall the cranks seal.

Head over to the tech section and ask.
