Drive it in fowards instead of backing it up! Just kidding. It might be your exhaust filling the garage since it probably hits the back wall and the fumes fill the room. Hard to describe unless we know what type of smell it is!

 

If the small is bearable, then it's not Transmission fluid! Is the car leaking!
