1999 Jaguar XJ8 4.0 Automatic.
I HAVE A 1999 Jaguar XJ8 4.0 Automatic.AND IT OVERHEATS WHILE DRIVING,ONCE I TURN THE A/C ON THE TEMP. GOES DOWN I AM THINKING THAT IT COULD BE THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR BUT I AM NOT SURE ALSO I GOT CODE P1111 WHICH MEANS INTAKE AIR TEMP.
ANY SUGESTIONS,THANK YOU ALL.

P1111 is normal....it seems that your fans aren't coming on when they should. When you turn on the A/C the fans must be coming on, that's why the engine is cooling with the A/C on. I think you're on the right track with the sensor. Check for loose wires or corrosion on the connections at the sensor.
