New to me jag. Absolutely love the interior and power. I came from a Lincoln Mark VIII and love both of these. I live in central Florida and been working on cars for a few years now. Anyways, here is a pic of my new ride.

Congrats on the XJR. One of the best, if not THE best mod you can do is install the RealGauge. Contact Whitexkr for more info. Here's the link: RealGauge - TheJagWrangler
However, the first on your list should be to check secondary timing chain tensioners. If they are plastic, replace them with metal. Here're some links:

Although these links are for XKRs, it's the same for XJRs
For more on this do search for ZIP TIE

To get more power, take a look at swapping out s/c pulleys. The upper one will require modding the s/c snout and can give you upwards of 3 psi of boost while the lower one will give you 4.5 psi and about 50hp in mid range.
