Since I was about six years old, I always said I wanted an old car. No I realize, what I really meant was a classic car in brand new condition for about $2 with no miles.

For about a year I have been actively looking on every website that sells cars to find my dream "old" car; not my daily driver, but my weekend car. And last week it happened. For some illogical reason I found a 1998 XK8. I will not bore you with all the details since you all probably know Jaguars better than me, but I can only say this: Some people may spend $1000's on artwork. I prefer to park my artwork in my garage and enjoy it over weekends, and some weekdays!! No picture can do justice to artwork like that.

Somebody earlier commented about the butterflies.. We'll, I have them as well.

Tomorrow I will go and get the car. Suddenly I feel six again.. I won't be able to sleep tonight.

P.S. For you out there with the very late model XK's. Please take care of them in order for the rest of us to buy end enjoy them when you think they are old...
