hello jaguar forums, I am located in s wales, I am interested in all things mechanical, also into welding fabricating etc. I recently sold my xj8 executive due to not being used enough, it was a low mileage 2001 model. the thing is I miss that v8 motor. I have just bought another xj8 3.2 1998 model as spares repair, what I am looking to achieve is to get the engine running out of car.i.e. on floor mounted testbed, I have removed engine/transmission and at the stage of removing complete electrical system. what I need is any info that will help me reach this goal before I proceed to the next step. thank you for talking the time to look at this.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

ok, thanks for the welcome, have already found a link for all xj8 electrics, superb. engine bay wiring loom all removed, next, dashboard etc.
