Hi, I just joined the site because I decide tio purchase a X-Type Station wagen. Always liked jags and my last one was a 30 year old XJ6.
Used to spend a lot of time on the XJ Lovers site because the XJ was reliable, but was victim to so many grelims it was amazing it ever ran. Didn't matter though, car was very popular with family and friends.
Bought X-Type because has XJ looks and hope of reliable Ford under pinnings. Wrong, X-Type is a geniune Jaguar with the in built eccentricity we expect.

One major difference is Jaguars don't dissolve from the ground up in our climate the way they did thirty years ago.
I see you've already found X-Type section to start a thread on the A/C. Hope the gremlins are nothing too serious or expensive.
