Another Jaguar...
Hello all. My connection with Jaguar started back in 1961, having come home from the hospital as a new baby in my parents Mark VII. A short time later, a Mark IX came along (still in my father's garage), and after a couple of Land Rovers a 420 in 1972, and a stream of others.
When I took my licence at 16 I used my father's silver 1968 420 (another car that is still in my father's garage). At 22 I bought my first Jaguar, the 448th XJS, a burgundy 1975 car. Since then I have had a few Jaguars.
My oldest son took his driver's licence on one of my silver Jaguars, and my youngest son is very likely going to do the same in a black XJR (perhaps he can be talked in to staying on the second generation silver Jaguar route).
Never having owned an American car, and primarily having English cars, I have passed that on to my two sons. My eldest at 21 now has a 1978 Mini, and my youngest at 16 has a 1983 TVR Tasmin.
We also have the 2001 XJR, 2002 XK8, 2008 XJR, 1985 TVR 350i FHC, and 1994 TVR Griffith 500 HC.
Live a wee bit east of Toronto in Ontarion Canada.
Cheers,
Rob.

Welcome to the forum Rob,
Quite a collection. Looking forward to seeing pics.
It is perhaps superfluous to give you a link to a particular section as almost any will be for a model you have had or currently own!
Nevertheless, follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section, this one XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section and this one XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section. Help, advice and information in all; also the place to post tech questions and your own contributions.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Canada Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-mexico-south-america-41/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forum.
