Hello, All! I have been a service tech, service manager, and shop foreman for 37 years in both the car and motorcycle businesses. I am currently employed as a lead tech at a local shop that specializes in European and Special Interest cars. I just purchased a lovely 2004 XK8 convertible with 97,000 miles! even though I work on these things almost daily, you people are really the experts here. There is more info avaiable on this forum than any one person could begin to understand. So, here I am, ready to learn more about my car!

Sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8 section. You'll find a friendly welcome there with plenty of help and advice. With that CV you should also be able to contribute your own experience.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
