Anxious new S-type owner
Hi all,
First, thanks for all the willing participation in this great forum. I've only been browsing for a few days and I've learned more than I ever knew about Jags. I'm about to take delivery of my first Jaguar, a 2005 4.2L S-type with titanium paint & black interior! It's nearing 100k miles, but it's appearantly in great shape and only cost me $7,500...not bad for a vehicle that retailed for over $50k six years ago
Since I don't know much about the history of the car I'm going to go through every preventitive maintenance procedure I can now, and will probably purchase an extended warranty considering the cost of major repairs. I hope to lean on the knowledge of forum members early and often in getting this car ready to go another 100k!

Sounds like a decent S type you have yourself there....the S typers will be gald to help if they can I'm sure!!
There's some great guys / techs here and always plenty going on, great info and usually plenty of banter.
