Default Back in a Brit roadster again

Well, actually it is my wife's car. A '99 BRG XK8 cabrio. 29,000 miles, and we are both happy. Background includes many MG's, just about all models, and the Jag is sharing the garage with an '06 M Roadster. Looking forward to caring for this sweet car, but not blind to its potential problems. Forums like this are a big help, and we plan to be contributing members.

Welcome to the forum Tom,

Low miles on a '99. It should be in very good condition.

Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. With an early V8, particularly look for info on tensioners and cooling system issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Western Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome Tom,
29K miles, it's like a new car. Have fun breakin' her in. Tirefriar and I get together on occasion to talk cars, go to auto shows, Supercar Sundays at Woodland Hills Promenade, etc. In fact, weekend after next, is the Queen's English car show at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, we're trying to herd some forum members together for the show. If you can make it, we'd love to meet you. Congratulations on your new acquisition.
