Hi David and welcome to the forum. I hope you took a lot of pics of this restoration? It would be great to see the progression of the restoration!

Hi David

Welcome to the discussion board, post some pics of the car when you can. Friends of ours have a cottage on Black Donald Lake and we'll be 'just down the road' from you in the near future, we're moving to Perth.

Calabogie? Really? Cool sounding place! Sounds like something you would do on a surf board. Welcome. Looking forward to seeing that hand-me-down classic.

It's a small town set into a gorgeous countryside of hills and lakes. Wonderful ski resort and an even better club style road race track.

Hey Mohrd, Yup, Calabogie is about 1 inch to the left of Ottawa, Canada's Capital. Real Place, reasonable taxes, lots of water and hills and trails and actually the best roads for motorcycling in the province. Everyone's as nice as me (LMAO) .... Let's leave it at that LOL.

David ...

Hey Bruce,

Sounds like you have a place here or at least have used the conveniences. The tourist bureau of Calabogie wants to thank you officially for the pump up (lol)

I attended the first track event there in '06 and a couple of times since, including last Oct right after picking up my XKR. Drove in from Bancroft direction for the first time and was blown away with the fall colours and spectacular vistas across the lakes. Here's one out the window from a cellphone...
