Default From Canada need help with chrome grill

Hey,

Just got a 2011 XJL and trying to paint the chrome grill mesh and lower mesh.

What did people use to strip chrome for prep?

Cheers

Hi Blue and welcome to the forum! I'm going to suggest you go to the model section for your car XJ ( X351 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum and ask there. Someone there may have already done what you're trying to do. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum BluE46,

Congratulations on the XJL.

Good advice from Jamey. If you don't find the answer in the X351 section, post the question in General Tech Help - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum General Tech as someone with another model may be able to help with this refinishing procedure.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
