About me: I live and work in Sacramento, Ca and I've joined the site to troubleshoot a couple of issues.

About the car: 2001 Jaguar XJ8 with 96k miles. I purchased the vehicle, salvaged, in 2005 with 75k miles. The engine runs great and the interior is beautiful. With the salvaged title came a few issues: valve cover leak likely (hopefully?) caused by the use of rtv vs oem gasket, a thin paint job on the front of the vehicle, a driver's door that must be opened from the outside, and a sun roof that likes to close in the slightly open position. I probably wouldn't purchase another salvaged vehicle, but I'm glad I was given the opportunity to drive *this* car. The jag makes me happy.
