Default Dead in the water

greetings, I have a 2000 s-type, looks pretty but stopped running, just quit. Only thing that works is the radio and power seats. nothing else works. battery good, belt is tight, turn the key, nadda, no lights, no horn, no windows, no fan, no anything? Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum...wish it was under better circumstances.
Like everyone else has stated, go over to the S Type section, lots of good folks to help...

I'll start you... How do you know the battery is good? On these cars, the standard parts store tests are not always reliable. Also, have you checked the ground wires for corrosion? Just some quick things to think about and answer in your new post in the S Type section..

+1 to JOsworth's comment. If your battery is good then you have to start tracing the problem from there. Bad connections to the starter, ground, bad starter-solenoid, bad ignition switch, etc.
A test light will come in really handy right now and they're cheap too!
