Greetings From Humble Texas
Hello to the Forum. Just received my first Jag S-Type today, bought based off of prictures. Boy was this a mistake. I'm turning to the community to aid me in the troubleshooting of this S-Type right off the freight hauler. Gearbox Fault and overheating. Yes - you guessed it, no warranty expressed or implied. Ouch!
Already, I have found some great write-ups on thermostats, waterpumps and batteries (battery was dead upon vehicle arrival). Good to know batteries are a major culprate to computer issues. That will be my first purchase for sure, then a thermostat. I'm a huge "do it yourselfer" with great success on my american cars as well as my German roadster.

PS Gonna have to get back down there and have some of the BEST chicken fried steak in the world. I can't remember the name of the place but it is on the corner of FM 249 & FM 1960 if I remember right. Please tell me they are still open.
