Hello all. Like several of the other "newbies", I have used the forum quite often over the past few months. As usual, I am a little slow in following directions so I have some catching up to do. I live in Lorton, VA and I really enjoy this forum!!!

I have used the forum over the past year before recently deciding to join a couple months ago. I was using the forum to assist my dad with problems with his 2000 S-Type 4.0. He had the dreaded tensioner failure and it was a nightmare! Thanks to this forum, I knew exactly what to do and now he is a happy camper.

In October 2011, I bought my first Jag...a 2000 S-Type 3.0. Since purchasing the car I have used this forum to change the cam cover gaskets, plugs, all 6 coils, replace a cracked coolant reservoir, change all the hoses, change the fuel filter, and order new navigation CDs. Needless to say, this is partial list of the information I have received from such an awesome forum.

Keep up the good work guys and gals...and hopefully I will be able to add to the conversations in the future. Now I need to get busy researching how to add personal information, signatures, etc to personalize my messages.

Congratulations on the S-Type. That's some work list you've got through already. Remember, even if a topic has been covered before, it's always useful for others to know how easy or how difficult you've found any particular fix.

Signature is showing up fine. Hope you're going to replace that icon with a pic of the S-Type!
