Hi Everyone. I have just purchased an immaculate '01 XJ8 VDP, one owner car with 47K on Ebay. I've been interested in these cars for over a year now and finally found one that looked good to me and had it shipped from Chicago to New Orleans. So far there are only a few minor problems with it which I will be able to fix mysel with the help of all the great and helpful tech information in this site. The original owner had the Jag alloy wheels chromed plated whih I don't care for and maybe some day I will find an owneer to likes chrome wheels and I can work out a swap with him/her. The car is Titanium with cream leather and is really beautiful. I love the looks of this body compared to the new body which started in '04 (kinda resembles a Buick
Well, that's enough ranting and raving for now but you guys will be hearing from me again. I feel really fortunate to have found this site and be able to join up.

Thanks for your reply and yes, when I get a chance I will take a picture and post in this forum (hope I can figure that out). The car is Titanium/cream and looks as good as a new car which is great considering it is 9 yrs. old. Otherwise it doesn't look any diifferent than any other VDP except for those (nasty) chrome wheels! So far I really love the car.
