So glad I found this forum, yesterday after reading some threads I went to a junk yard and purchased a sucurity module for my 1998 XJ8 and vualla it worked just fine. I would urge anyone that it's very inpotant to match up the numbers corectly before paying. I brought my car with me and tried it before I bought it , most yards have a no return policy on electrial parts,
