Hi, I'm Jack Redman from Huntington Beach California. Our 98 XJ8 lost it's engine due to the timing chain tensioner erupting, caused the chain to jump one or more teeth. Anyway, it was an opportunity to upgrade to a newer Jaguar so we bought a 2004 XJ8. It is a lovely car and I think it is an improvement over the 98.

This is our third Jaguar. They require some tender loving care, but all and all we like having such a nice car. I am currently working out a few bugs in it, and hope to have it near perfect soon.

 

Welcome, Jack. I'm a new member myself. Great choice. Ive had my '04 XJ8 for about 5 weeks. Its my first Jag and I love it. There's a lot of good info on here.
