Default Headlamp Washer Replacement

The washer on the driver side has fallen inside. I need to get at the wassher head to see if it is broken (likely) or is dislogged. Does anyone have instructions on how to get at the unit easily? Thanks Mike

Welcome Mike,

Sorry to hear about the headlamp washer issue. A hint on the model and year you've got might make repair suggestions a bit easier!

That was quick - you must be desparate for a solution.

Check this link:

Plenty more threads on XK8/XKR 1996 - 2006 section.

You won't be able to download attachments or upload photos to the forum until you've 10 posts and 3 days membership.

Welcome to the forum Mike,

Follow Graham's lead and head over the XK8/XKR section, there's a great wealth of information and helpful XK owners there who will help you out. The Search tool is your friend, use it to look for all the existing information about your headlamp washer. Me, I'm too new an owner. I know those things are goofy acting at times, but I haven't yet had the need to figure out how they work (or attach). Good luck with your quest, hope to hear more from you.

Steve
